About the Recipe
Spaghetti squash is a great substitute for real spaghetti. I eat with meatballs and Rao's marinara sauce or with homemade pesto sauce can grilled chicken. It is also very easy to make!
Ingredients
1 medium sized spaghetti squash
A sprinkle of sea salt
Butter
Parsley
Garlic powder
Preparation
Preheat over to 375 degree Fahrenheit.
Slice your spaghetti squash lengthwise and remove the seeds from the middle by scraping them out with a spoon.
Butter the flat area of the squash (where you cut it) and sprinkle it with sea salt.
Place the squash with the butter and salted side down on a baking sheet lined with foil
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 -40 minutes until the squash can be "raked" easily with a fork.
Remove the inside of the squash with a fork and put it into a bowl. Mix in a little butter, parsley and garlic powder to taste.
I serve with meatballs and marinara or with pesto and chicken. Delicious!
