About the Recipe
This is an easy roast to make and turns out perfect every time! It makes a good amount and can be eaten over several days.

Ingredients
3-4 pound chuck roast
1 cup of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon sea salt
1/2 tablespoon of parsley
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Preparation
Rinse your roast and dry rub it with all of spices.
Place your roast in the crockpot and drizzle the cup of olive oil over it.
Cook for 6-8 hours until tender.
I usually take my roast out and shred it, then add it back to the crockpot with the liquid that is in there, stir it, and let it cook for another 15-20 minutes. I serve a vegtable such as carrots or green beans as a side.
