Carb free hummus that taste delicious!
Ingredients
1 cup of raw cashews
1/4 cup of tahini
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon of salt
1/4 cup of lemon or lime juice
1/2 cup of water
1 garlic clove or a dash of garlic powder
Preparation
Soak the raw cashews in a bowl of hot water for at least 30 minutes or you can soak them in room temperature water overnight. The longer they soak the easier it wil be to blend them.
After the cashews have soaked, drain and rinse them.
Place the cashews and all other ingrediants into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Serve with veggies! I usully sprinkle a little paprika and olive oil on top of mine as well.
Store in the refridgerator and enjoy for up to a week.
