Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas

About the Recipe

These chicken fajitas are easy and healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs of chicken breast

  • 2 tablespoons of SCD legal taco seasoning 

  • 1/4 cup of olive oil

  • Three tablespoons of orange juice or lemon juice

  • 2-3 bell peppers of your choice (green, red, yellow, or orange)

  • 1 small onion (optional)

Preparation

Clean chiken and cut in into small strips.


Put the chicken into a ziplock bag and add the taco seasoning, olive oil, and orange juice to the bag. 


Seal the bag and mix all ingrediants well.  Let the chicken marinade for about 2 hours.  You can let it marinate for a day as well.  I usually prepare it the night before I am going to cook it.


Chop the peppers and onion into thin strips .


When you are ready to cook it, empty the chicken and marinade from the bag into a bowl and stir in the pepper and onions.


Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.


After it is preheated add the chicken and peppers to the air fryer and cook it for 20-25 minutes (until the chicken gets to at least 165 degrees).


I top my chicken with shredded cheese and use lettuce as my "tortilla."
